Puppy Wellness Plan
The Puppy Wellness Plan covers everything your new puppy needs in their first year. The plan includes the complete DHPP vaccine series at 8 to 10 weeks, 12 weeks, and 16 weeks, with lifestyle vaccines for Bordetella, Leptospirosis, and Lyme added based on your puppy's outdoor exposure and local risk in Abbotsford. Deworming is included at each vaccine visit, along with fecal testing to screen for intestinal parasites. Microchipping can be added at any visit. At each appointment we discuss nutrition, house training, socialization, and when to schedule spay or neuter based on your puppy's breed and expected adult size.
Kitten Wellness Plan
The Kitten Wellness Plan covers the core vaccine series from 8 weeks through your kitten's first year. The FVRCP series is given at 8, 12, and 16 weeks, with Feline Leukemia vaccine added at 12 and 16 weeks and Rabies given at 16 weeks. FIV and FeLV testing is recommended at intake and coordinated within the plan. Deworming and fecal testing are included at each visit. Microchipping can be added at any appointment. We discuss litter box setup, nutrition, socialization, carrier training, and coordinate spay or neuter timing at each stage of the plan.
Adult Pet Wellness Plan
The Adult Pet Wellness Plan keeps your dog or cat on track with annual preventive care after the busy first year. The plan covers annual physical exams, core vaccine boosters, lifestyle vaccine updates based on current exposure risk, annual parasite screening through fecal testing, and preventive products for fleas, ticks, and heartworm as appropriate. Dental health is assessed at every adult visit and professional dental cleaning is recommended when buildup is identified. We review weight, body condition, nutrition, and any behavioral or lifestyle changes at each appointment.
Senior Pet Wellness Plan
The Senior Pet Wellness Plan is tailored for dogs and cats entering their senior years, typically beginning at 7 years of age. Senior pets benefit from twice-yearly exams to track changes in organ function, weight, mobility, and dental health more closely. Blood panels and urinalysis are included in the senior plan to assess kidney and liver function, thyroid levels, and early indicators of conditions such as diabetes or hormonal disease. We work with you to adjust care plans as your pet's needs evolve, with the goal of supporting comfort and quality of life through their later years.
A puppy wellness plan covers the full DHPP vaccine series, lifestyle vaccine discussions, deworming and fecal testing at each visit, guidance on nutrition and house training, and coordination of spay or neuter timing. We review your puppy’s development at each of the three booster visits and provide a clear plan for the 12-month booster. Call (604) 852-3030 to schedule your puppy’s first wellness visit.
Most cats transition from a kitten to an adult wellness schedule at around 12 months of age, once they have completed their core vaccine series and spay or neuter procedure. The adult plan shifts from the more frequent visits of the first year to annual preventive care. Our team will let you know when the time is right based on your kitten’s progress at their visits.
Senior wellness visits at Glenn Mountain Animal Hospital include a thorough physical exam, blood panel and urinalysis to assess organ function, updated vaccines based on lifestyle, dental health assessment, body weight and condition review, and a discussion of any behavioral or mobility changes you have noticed. For most senior dogs, twice-yearly visits provide a meaningful advantage in catching age-related conditions early.
